What could be more perfect than getting married under the willow tree in the yard where you grew up? Amanda & Patrick had the perfect summer day complete with family and friends as they said their vows in this beautiful spot. We even photographed part of their snowy Winter Engagement session next to this amazing tree!

From Yoga to Fireworks

The warm sun, soft breeze, and sounds of water lapping along the shore set the tone as the day began with yoga on the lawn. And the night ended with a bang as the crowd cheered and fireworks burst above the newlyweds.

First Look

There was an especially beautiful moment when Amanda made her way through the sunny grass to greet Patrick & their sweet pup Jax for their first look. Amanda’s dad followed for a “first look” with his beautiful daughter and dancing on the dock. It was amazing!

Wedding Day Fun 

There was plenty of wedding day fun mixed in throughout the day along with yummy tacos, dancing, singing, laughter, and happy tears.

I'm Cathy Fitzgerald, founder of Cathy Fitz Coaching. I work with studio owners across dance, yoga, pilates, martial arts, photography, and creative businesses who are exceptional at what they teach and ready to build something solid underneath it. My background includes corporate management, building a dance studio from scratch and growing it to over 900 students, running a photography business across two states, yoga teacher training, and helping launch a yoga studio in Traverse City. I finished my college degree in my 50s and became a certified coach because helping people find their way forward is, quite simply, what I do best.

Every chapter of my life came with me into the next one. That's exactly how I work with clients too.

When I'm not coaching, I'm usually spending time with my husband Bill, taking a yoga class, hanging out with family and friends, or exploring and photographing the beauty of northern Michigan.
